No, I've neither smoked nor grown that strain. The name sounds
good, I think of lush green leaves with tinges of purple spreading
outward from the veins in the leaves. As the harvest nears, trichomes
frost all of the smaller bud leaves as they begin to turn a much darker
purple. Sticky, sparkly purple tinged buds, jar cured for months in a
dark cool place, the subtle purple beneath the sticky resinous
glands...
Yeah, Purple Sticky *does* provoke some stoned flights of fancy.
Tell me more!

I doubt it - it is just a brand name for Salvia divinorum leaf bolstered in
strength by the addition of a standardised extract of the same plant.

So true, Shaun is right. Salvia is like a very peppy hit of
acid except the onset is rapid and it doesn't last real long. There are
some very vivid visuals and feelings connected with Salvia. I must
admit to having never tried Salvia (I'm afraid to try anything that
could be a cardiostimulant due to the prior heart attack) bit I have
seen how abruptly people get the onset of the effect and how intense it
sometimes is. At least, unlike acid, it's a quick trip so if you go
into it with the knowledge that all will be well again with the passage
of a little time one should be ok. It's best to have a trip sitter to
watch over you while you try it the very first time to reassure you
through it; any psychadelic drug is like that though in that you want
someone around at least the first time...

A trip sitter is to psychadelics as a designated driver is to
someone out drinking. They will get you through the trip and safely
home.
I did a fair bit of 'cid back in the 70's; I last tripped at the
Pink Floyd concert in Soldier Field in Chicago in 1976 when they did
their albums "Animals" and "Wish You Were Here". That was memorable! I
just prefer good ol' home grown ganja. And maybe a glass of home brewed
beer. :-)

Everyone in the car made sure I never forgot that one! "Hey,
remember the time BudBurner asked that traffic cop directions when he
was trippin'?" That would come up at get-togethers of us old stoners
quite frequently.

Some of the best times of my life were had in the 70's. I was
pretty much carefree and just lived to party all the way through
college. It was only at the end of the 70's that I got serious about...
