Holyshit, I never thought I'd see the end of the huge sack of
Afghanica I once had in the freezer. I just put the last of the
freezer bag into a little vial and the trichome dust that fell into
the vial was incredible. This may be like hash, just powdery instead
of chunky like the rolled/pressed stuff. I have two big Afghanica buds
set aside for "special occasions" and that is the end of what I got
from the '05 crop! I had close to a pound of Afghanica, another 11
ounces of 1390 and probably 6 ounces of Coon Creek Creeper. 2005 was a
phenominal year, I also had that incredibly good NY Diesel that
sprouted from Jack H's seeds and some Bud's Surprise (Jack's Surprise
X Humboldt Snow) but that didn't make it quite as long until I smoked
it up! Lol!
So, that is about it, I'll have smoked the last of that by the
time the weekend is over and then all I'll have left to burn until
August (when I can open some of my jars of last season's goodies!)
will be perhaps an ounce of 1390 and a large bud of AK-47, plus those
two nice sparkly tasty Afghanica buds. Should be just fine until those
sasty looking morsels in those sealed jars have at least 6 months on
them and then I can totally enjoy the pleasures of tasting a cured new
strain for the first time. Anticipation! Woot! I am drooling in ...

Well, I'm growing - on the balcony in pots - (1)Big bud, (1)W.W. x
P.Hase, (1) Hash Plant, (1) Indica #1 (from 'Dam), (1) N.L., & clones:
(1) Diesel #1, Sour Bubble (3 clones) & (1) Nepal Indica!!! Plus an
"unknown" from a seed that showed up! LoL The 1 Sour Bubble is due to
harvest, soon as is the Nepal (I pollenated 1 branch with N.L. for seeds
of Nepal Baba). 11 strains! This is not easy, as I need to keep
checking on their growth & progress, daily!!! This takes about 6
months, too! Plants are about 2-3 feet tall, but topped to get bushy &
more buds!

All I can say is wow. I just tried that bottom-of-the-bag
Afghanica and my first bong hit left me with a head rush that put me
on my knees! That is almost all trichomes, even stuck to the side of
the plastic freezer bag. Getting the bag real cold helped me scrape
off a big gob of trichomes, which are now going into my little glass
hash pipe (thank you BekkaSue) and then I plan on sizzling those
trichomes. I figure there is enough for two or 3 good tokes; BudBurner
1 cleared for take-off.

I had a great flight, and tonight I am enjoying a few MGD's
while enjoying some more of the Afghanica herbal delights. This is
almost as good as the hash I made from the bud that remained from the
seed crops of last season. I am in my happy place!
I am listening to King Crimson's Red album tonight and
recording some of it for tomorrow's company party while I help burn
stuff on the charcoal grill before everyone arrives for the food.
Hopefully I will find a clever way to stash a few beers for while we
cook prior to the bash...
