I have one friend that had his car for a tad over 30 years and when it gave
up the ghost, he took the drivers door off of it and put it in his living
room and has people that visit and that had ridden in it either as a child
that is now grown up or as an adult sign the door. He has it sitting beside
his recliner and has an old driven in tray hooked onto the rolled down
window (the kind that they use to hang on your car door at those drive in
restraunts) and uses it as an end table to sit stuff on next to his chair.
