have learned from the 60's is to always question authority. The dirty
tricks and subterfuge comes out so many years later when the veils of

I just hope there is enough of a future where I can live out
my final years after I am done working full time and being a caregiver
to an elderly parent; I want to spend some time in the woods, among
forest critters and near places to go fishing. Someplace where I can
string up a bunch of antennas in the trees and be a ham radio geek all
I want. Someplace I can brew my own beer with crystal clear forest
filtered well water, somewhere I can have a couple of nice plants
going on continuously to provide me with ganja and hash well into my
declining years. Hell, I'd be happy to die at 90 sitting in my deck
chair with a large walleye in the fish basket, a big chilled mug of
homebrewed beer and a smoldering fatty between my lips. Yeah, and
having my body promptly devoured by a bear and the bones picked clean
by fishers. Yeah, that would be the ultimate way to go out blazing and
have the efficiency of recycling instead of burial. It would probably
make for an interesting article on the back pages of the Chicago
Tribune Magazine someday when this silly drug war is long over.
