I went to the website you had as an addy on ADP, and there was a
smaller version of my beloved greyhounds!! I do know they arent' the
same
thing, but same group of loving critters.
We now have out 3rd GH, Khan The Spoiled. We lost our first girls to
cancer and I never got over them. So DH got me a gh puppy for
Christmas
4 years ago, what a difference raising your own and getting a retired
racer. Khan was an oops pupper, and had a broken leg no one knew
about
til we got him at 5 mos. The break was too high for a cast and seems
to have healed, not correctly, but he flies like the wind when he
runs.
Vet is quite pleased it turned out so well. He really was a rescue,
just not a retired racer, as an oops pup, I'm sure they would have
put
him down if they'd known about the leg. Thank God they didn't!!! In
40
years of marriage and many dogs, he is the most loving sweetest dog
we've ever had.
I followed the Vivi story, and still check in on it. I pray someone
has
her that is loving her and treating her well if she can't be reunited
with her owners. Wht an airline fiasco. The thought of flying a dog
scares me now.
Glad you and your neighbor got to know each other. We had some cool
neighbors move in next door a few years ago!!
Hug the hounds, Nan(Olde Hippee)
Hope I'm barking up the right tree here!!
