I have on my outdoor balcony, potted plants of gladiolas, narccises, an
avocado seed that's growing, an aloe vera plant, geraniums (pink) . . .
and a few MMJ plants from clones (hope those make it as I have a bad
time with clones), then I'll do the geminating "Mini-Greenhouse" to get
some seeds going!

Cheapest "greenhouse" I've seen is a foil casserole tray and
clear lid, about $1.00, usually found in the kosher section of
your local supermarket. Kashruth laws requires separating
meat and dairy, so orthodox jews use a lot of throw-away
dishes.
For pots, use 3 oz plastic drinking cups. Stack up a dozen
or so upside down and drill drainage holes with a 1/4" drill.
Very fast. No need to drill vent holes in the greenhouse lid.
Placing it on the tray a half inch off center works fine.
