As some of you may know, Canada *was* going to pass laws making
possesion of small amounts of pot a finable (word?) offence as opposed
to a criminal offence. Last night I saw a doc about the person mentioned
in the subject, who was running an online seeds website and a tv
(internet only?) called pot TV. Apparently at the time that Cretien
mentioned the intent of the Liberal Govt. The US Drug Czar (damn that
just sound opposite to what it is!) very quickly visited Canada
(apparently to do something about this - in his mind - nonsence). He
gave a talk where the above heckled everything the czar and reps, of the
RCMP said that was incorrect - such as addiction/danger inherent in the
drug etc. After this news conference, apparently he met with the Feds
and the plan was dropped. Since then The "King"...
