King Crimson is coming to Chicago's Park West on August 6 and
7. I am so there! Woot! I got a Ticketmaster alert to let me know
tickets are going on sale tomorrow. I haven't seen these guys in
years. I hope the lineup is Fripp/Belew/Mastalotto and Gunn. Eyes Wide
Open tour was the last time I saw them.
I will smoke a fattie of my best ganja and enjoy some of the
most complex music known to mankind.
In the meantime, I thought Adrian Belew was doing some
recording with Trent Reznor of NIN so how does he get time to tour
with KC??? And where does this leave the California Guitar Trio? All I
have to do is skip a few weeks of surfing the music sites and I lose
all track of what the hell is going on!

The KC line-up for the August concert is Fripp/Belew/Mastalotto/
Levin and a new Crimm, Gavin Harrison. GH is another master of the
percussion and brings another dimension to the KC music. This is going
to be one awesome concert, and I'm going to watch it from the
balcony.
Belew is indeed fresh from NIN's latest album "Ghosts 1-4",
which I am eagerly awaiting hearing for the first time. More NIN!
