Great bud pix and descriptions

I got the newest edition of the Cannabible (#3 in the
series) and was drooling all over the pages of great ganjs and saw
that M39 and Humboldt Snow are listed as clone only strains. We've
enjoyed them both for quite some time here so I shared that info with
the author in an email. Anyone have any comments about either strain,
post your experiences with the strain as he will probably read this
and scan the ng for any additional information about the strain.
Anyone having good pix of their grow of either strain that could post
a link to the pix would be appreciated (put the strain name in the
filename, please!).
Now, I don't know for absolute certain that *our* M39 and
Humboldt Snow are the same genetics as the rest of the world's but it
sure seems like these are the one...

Hi BudBurner, Have you researched the M39 & Humboldt Snow strains (does
any seedbank carry them)? I can't find any listed. Hmmm?! I thought
somewhere H.S. is listed as Shiva Shanti (Skunk #1 x N.L.). Just
wondering.

I did some looking around but I found nothing really
conclusive. It seems to originate in Humboldt (County?) California and
be a mostly Indica strain. Jack H scored the beans for me that I
reproduced the strain with. He didn't seem to know the history of
where the strain came from (friend of a friend of...). Seems to be
very stable genetics, plants look pretty much the same. The "Snow"
part is their nice sparkly trichome frosty appearance. I bred that
with Jack's Surprise and got the Bud's Surprise, quite nice tasty
smoke and a pleasant sleepy Indica for when one wants to enjoy a good
night's sleep.

Hi BudBurner, Do I understand this right; you bred the Humboldt
(county!) Snow with Jack's Surprise and got Bud's Surprise?

Hmmmm? sacks had a dusty look to em 'pollen?' but this one didn't he
was dried up looking. so did he stick it to the ladies or what? SO if
he stuck it to em then i'll have,,Humboldt Snow x White Widow x Purple

Yep, that's the deal. I had a Jack's Surprise male and let it
pollenate several strains to see what I could come up with. The
Humboldt Snow offspring yielded the Bud's Surprise (brazenly named
after yours truly), the only one of the offspring of that session to
be named. If I get one hybrid every 3 years that is stable/tasty/stony
enough to name, I'm doing good since I can't grow for more that 7
months out of the year. I just love the flavor of Bud's Surprise, it's
the perfect nighttime smoke with that soft but fruity/berry flavor and
really turns the mind down for the evening in a calming relaxing way!
Coon Creek Creeper is my only other hybrid I've bothered to name, and
that's sprouted in quite a few ADP gardens over the last few years!

BudBurner, That's SO cool that you've developed 2 "named" strains! I
wish I could do the same (I'm trying to find out the most potent THC
strains for Sativas & Indicas, at the moment)! I just read S.A.G.E. is
a 20-21%% THC sativa + read White Widow is strong too. Do you know what
Malawi Gold is?? Need to look up my notes on the Indicas. So many are
Hybrids, now it's amazing!
