Actually, god made beer/wine too. (fermenting fruit, grain).

OTOH, I just saw an interesting thing about how the "little ice age"
back in the 16'th century is actually responsible for northern
european's (and therefore america's) love for grain alcohol.
Apparently, that year the wine crop was destroyed and so they turned
to grain...

Incidentally, I actually generally agree with where I think you are
actually coming from. i.e., natural v.s. man made. I think that man
has repeatedly demonstrated its *lack* of understanding. Corporate
science has consistently underestimated the danger posed by various
concentrated products/by-products. It is clear that our propensity for
distilling everything we can into its most dangerous and potent
essence has caused (and will for the foreseeable future cause) many
negative health consequences.

Beer as well - actually I've heard beer *instead* of wine.

Strictly speaking, I am taking grain alcohol to *include* beer. IOW, I
thought that is what I said?
