Friends and supporters of ganja,

Willie Nelson announced that on Friday, August 10th in Austin, Texas, he and
several other popular groups will perform at a benefit concert called the
Austin Freedom Fest . The beneficiaries of the first Austin Freedom Fest
will be NORML, WAMM and MPP.

Willie Nelson, who serves as co-chair of NORML's Advisory Board, has long
been one of America's most outspoken proponents for legalizing the personal
use of marijuana by adults, and stopping the senseless arrest of nearly
800,000 Americans each year on marijuana charges.

The proceeds from this benefit concert will be divided equally between NORML
, WAMM (the hospice for medical marijuana patients in Santa Cruz, CA) and
the Marijuana Policy Project.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for NORML supporters to gather for a
celebration in Austin," said NORML Executive Director Allen St. Pierre.
"Willie Nelson has been the most prominent proponent for legalizing
marijuana in America for several decades, and he has never wavered from his
commitment. It is only natural that we would eventually end up in Austin,
Texas at a Willie Nelson concert to benefit the drive to legalize the
responsible use of marijuana in America."

I wonder IF Paul McCartney could do one of these, in L.A. - we sure
could use the money raised - for Americans For Safe Access - since we
just had about 10 dispensaries shut down by the D.E.A. on 7/25/07 = Ugh,
Blaaaa.

Maybe John Lennon but Sir Tory Paul?

Don't hold yer breath. I believe he is one of those addicts that is afraid
that legalizing mj would make him want to snort more coke. He will turn it
into a pro coke thing.

Watch, he is catholic.
