I thought I wanted what they had until I got to know them. They are really
screwed up. I love what I have today and want more.
I am recovered and have not had a desire to drink for 20 years. I have had
bad sponsors that did not practice what their sponsors demanded. The old
timers would not sponsor me because I had tried drugs in the past. They
referred me to losers. I never had a drug problem and even though I was
sober at 5 years I was still accused of being a fraud. I knew someone who
tried marijuana and it did not lead him to other drugs or ruin his
manageability.
He did not used it for a long time and I think it should be ok to smoke if
needed. I am forced to work the program on my own and pick out the good
points when going to meetings. I am not allowed to share my experience
strength and hope due to the radical lies and deceptions towards mj. I have
not the money to experiment with doctors. lawyers or psychiatrists to take
other drugs that the religious manufacturers create.
I do not take any drugs today yet I had a craving for an Advil last night.
The meetings get me irritated especially when they start talking about
people dying because they did not do what they were told to do.
Yet I cannot speak out due to government spies and other snipers staking out
meetings.
I can only focus on me and continue to work for Gods will other than the
will of the bigot world. It is difficult when you are up against the most
powerful forces on earth. We today as citizens of the US have our vote and
voice and I can speak out against ruthless bigots if I have the money to
defend myself. As of now I am going into remission.
Congratulations on your 6th year and I hope you are able to add something
positive to the Life Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness of someone suffering
due to oppression, repression and depression.
