By my reckoning, the tree of knowledge is not a plant, it is a
*logical tree* of "knowledge" in your brain. The fruit of the tree of
knowledge is judgment... The lesson from the bible is that if you
indulge in judgment, (i.e., partake of the fruit of the tree of
knowledge) you will suffer. Since that is what we are taught that is
what we do and we suffer. It appears that in addition to being
essentially unable to identify truth, we suffer because the act of
engaging in judgment separates us from/makes it impossible to hear the
universal spirit. That is the condition known as hell. Only when we
stop talking about what is going on. Only when we stop judging
ourselves each other and the world do we come into the universal
spirit's presence and heaven.
