I'm going to a Roger Waters concert tonight, and I'd like to bring two
or three fatties to pass around. I'd like to help some unhappy
strangers catch a buzz, like so many have done for me in years gone
by. To give back, y'know?
Thing is, I don't go out much, least of all to expensive rock
concerts. So I don't really know what the deal is these days! Is it
still (relatively) safe to smoke pot openly at concerts? It's an
outdoor arena. We'll be in the second, uncovered section, way the
fuck in the back. Practically on the lawn! So I wouldn't expect
complaints from my fellow concertgoers. What I'm worried about is law
enforcement.
Do people get busted for smoking joints at rock concerts these days?
I wouldn't bring it out 'til near the end, in case I DO get busted or
kicked out. But *not* getting busted is always better!

Good old time ghetto wisdom:
Never hold more than you can eat.
In that setting it would be handy to have a beverage in-hand.
... Enjoy..!

In an ideal world a Roger Waters concert SHOULD be the one place you could
safely spark one up.
It's a very nice sentiment but these days there is an awful lot of anti-drug
mania flying around. Guaranteed if you do light one up some idiot will have
a fucking problem with it and you'll find yourself in cuffs in next to no
time.
It's sad but my advice would be to smoke one on the sly in the toilets. You
are asking for trouble passing joints around anywhere these days.
Everyone under a certain age has had it drummed into them that weed is bad
and you will be squealed on to security by some spotty little oik, whether
they do anything about it is another matter but 9 times out of 10 they love
the excuse to play at being a cop.
Perhaps the best move is to have one small pre-roll and smoke it as fast as
you can just amongst the people you are with, that way there is nothing for
any heat to find if they do turn up.

Why should others have to suffer your filthy Tobacco smoke?

I went to see Marilyn Manson in concert and when he played his famous
song "The Dope Show" everyone cheered and lit up inside the theater.
Some patrons were also smoking tobacco sticks which was really
disgusting but it seemed like it would be retarded to complain about
tobacco while I smoked my bowl of DMT-laced, hash-oil-soaked, chronic
hydroponic marijuana (all under the influence of 13 hits of LSD).

Who the fuck is talking about tobacco? Besides there is a *total*
absence of any proof that smoking a cigarette in an open area affects
anyone else. The only reason for this shit is the small-minded
self-centered little idiots who insist on having their own way and not
dealing with other people in a civilized manner.
