I saw those on TV too, I was considering getting one, but wasn't sure
if it would work. But I was at Disney World recently & I toured their
gardens inside of Epcot. They have aeroponics & hyroponics growing the
hugest pumkins, cucumbers, etc.. So i have no doubt the technology would
grow some good bud. with that said, I just know they come with pre
seeded packs to grow with & wonder how hard it would be to get the pot
seeds to grow instead of the strawberries or whatever they send to you.

High Faye, I did an online search "AeroGarden" and found they have 3
sizes; a "mini", a 100, & a 200. I'd get the bigger 200 one, IF I could
see or find out HOW big it is. Their site says the KIT comes with
seeds, etc. for a 1 year grow!! I'd imagine the MJ seeds would work just
like a tomato plant. Might be good for Indicas that tend to be short &
bushy?? They have some "On Sale" at the local Bed & Bath store, now, for
$149. but, not sure what size (will check it out, today).

Saw one at a garden shop. Computerized tabletop aeroponic unit,
lit by a couple of CFLs in a decent-looking reflector. Tiny pots,
good for lettuce or herbs, but too small for anything with a huge
root mass, like a Big Boy tomato.
You could do as well with a ten dollar clamp-on work light
from Walmart with a 26 watt cool white or warm white CFL.
That's what I built for my girlfriend's impatiens, soil grow,
which are looking green, vibrant, and healthy, with short
internodes -- that little 26 watt twisty bulb is putting out
plenty of light.
Biggest prob I see with the aerogarden is where to get
nutes once your starter kit runs out. Hope you live
close to a hydro store, else stick with soil and Peter's
plant food, available at supermarkets everywhere.

Went to Bed & Bath store, and saw one, for $149. - $5. coupon! I think
it's the medium or 100 sized one. Has 2 lights (2 extras available for
$20.) after 6,000 hrs.! Has 7 Pod (or pot) hole areas for small
basket-like pots to go into (with seeds), where underneath is a water
area with nutes . . . plugs in for the light & is adjustible for growth
and is not too heavy for a tabletop!!! I would really like to get one
to try growing MMJ indoors, but am a bit conserned if it would work well
or not for Indicas. It's expensive, but the store has supplies for when
you run out, too . . . after 1 yr.!!! Appearently, it comes with enough
nutes & seeds for 1 yr.! I wonder how many oz one can grow in a few
months with this? 7 plants, too! Just a thought.

Just did a search online and found that appearently it will work for
MMJ! Looked at AeroGarden and Marijuana + found some YouTube stuff, too
on growing Cannabis with it. Hmmmm?! Light will go to 21" or 24"
tall, too.

Might possibly work for small plants, after short or no veg period.
Mini sog?
If it's aeroponic, what keeps the plants from keeling over
during a power failure? With soil, they might look blanched
after 5 days with no light, but they'll recover.

I am SOooo tempted to get one and try it, but damn, the price of $149. +
tax (CA) bugs me! Hmmm? I can grow 7 plants or maybe 3 plants (area to
spread out), but wonder how much (oz) it would produce at harvest. Gotta
do more research on this. It DOES seem easy to use and IS INDOORS.
I've grown outdoors - but that usually takes about 6 months untl
harvest!

If youre serious about growing MMJ, that puny system wont do it.
Your plants will stay tiny and never flower/bud.
For a few dollars more, here's a tested and proven system:
