Me too with the impatiently waiting.
Mine finally declared - YAY!
Only 1 male and he is gone, gone, gone!! The last lady to declare was
so big I had to tie her down, she could be seen from the road. Oh boy
do I want to plant shrubs, Crepe Myrtle would be beautiful, to hide
the garden, veggies too, from the road. Only 4 plants out of 5
remain. I thought sure that big girl was gonna get balls. Whooppee on
her being a girl. Not sure which of 2 strains it is, didn't look at
the marker in the ground. She has some of the biggest fan leaves I've
ever seen, and they were just a stickin up, big and beautiful waving
at the road. Ok, Baby, now you can concentrate on flowering and
maturing. No more flirting with passing cars!!
On another gardening note, we have finally been enjoying the fruits of
our garden - fresh 'maters and zuccini. Is there anything better than
fresh veggies you have grown? Not much, maybe sushi, wish I could
grow those rolls already made!!
Ehugs to all, olde hippee
