other country would have been bombed by the US 1000 times

USS LIBERTY:
On June 8, 1967, unmarked Israeli warships and fighter-jets
attacked for 75 minutes the USS Liberty which was an
intelligence ship serving in the Mediterranean Ocean near
Egypt. 34 US soldiers were killed and 172 wounded. Israel
was intent on killing all on board and destroying the ship.
There were clear American flags flying on board, and when
under attack, they hoisted an even larger flag. Israel
blamed Egypt (on the Zionist radio and in the Zionist press
in the US, it was stated that Egypt attacked the Liberty)
to try to justify more attacks on Arabs. Israel then
admitted that they did in facy attack ("few rounds of
misdirected fire" when there was crippling damage) and they
mstakenly thought the ship was Egyptian, and it was
America's own fault for being in a war zone (the ship was
in international waters) and not displaying a flag. Problem
here. Soldiers say they flew big flags (on display in Fort
Meade, Maryland), and that the attacks were intentional and
deliberate. Israel stated and still states that the
survivors either are lying (then calls them anti-semites)
or too "emotionally distraught". The USS Liberty called
mayday and help was immediately sent. This would be the end
of Israel. However, then US President Lyden Johnson
personally intervened and called off the help. The next day
(day after Israel made peace with Arab states) Israel
attacked the Golan Heights in Syria. There has never been
an investigation. Israeli pilots have confirmed being
ordered to attack after mentioning the American flag. The
US Navy blocked all testimony from the officers on the
ship.

Liberty because I'm convinced that the attack was
deliberate. Thirty-four American boys were killed and the
Congress would not hold an investigation of the attack,"
