There's this guy I worked with briefly a few years ago whose last name I
kept hearing in a commercial over and over.
He and his family enjoyed that commercial, too- . In fact it
even mentions the first name of one of the characters which is his son's
name. Different person tho. I still looked up every time they said his name
anyway
He kidded that he
didn't get a dime from it. And I think that commercial is for a family
mini-van, which thanks to his kids marrying or moving on in other ways,
they don't own any more. His old family van is now my work van- full of
tools and boards, torn and dirty upholstery, rust spots proudly being
ignored, etc. I love it.
We both lived in the same building where I got mugged. Scary.
'Getting mugged' has
gotten to be such a commonplace term, that it sounds much less traumatic
it really is. he had a friend 'go off' and physically assault him years
back, and he said it permanently changed the way I feel about being around
people.
