It used to suck real bad but now they got quite a few decent parts up:
http://us.factory.lego.com/pab/

...I bought all the lamp posts though. It's weird, when they run out
of something they don't just put it up as "out of stock", they simply
remove it completely like it was never there in the first place...kind
of annoying.

Now that I've got my own house with multiple rooms I've setup one room
as a "Lego room". Basically about half the room is gonna be table,
the closet for storage of parts and then I'm also going to setup a
small desk with a computer for viewing Lego instructions and for
building finished models in LDraw (so you can make instructions for
your stuff) like nyah:

The table is going to be a giant 'L' shape and I want to construct it
out of smaller, inter-locking tables...but I haven't yet figured out a
really good means of locking them together yet (gotta make some...

Legos rock.

My sons have been completely occupied building a space fortress including
various gunships for the past two hours. Haven't heard squat from them.
I've been getting a shitload of work done in the meantime.

Gonna get a mindstorm set and demolish the city when you're done?

Kickin Myself In The Ass

When I was a kid my mom would take us with her when she went "teacher
shopping" and she always went to this one teaching supply store. Well,
the trick of it is, they had Legos there, OLD legos, but still liak
brand new in the boxes. And rare stuff too. They had road plate
sets, tree sets and traffic sign post sets. So anyway, we bought a
few of them from time to time. In total we bought liak 4 of the
flowers and trees sets...each came with liak 2 large, tall
trees...said trees now sell for $25...EACH!

*face palm*

*sigh*

If only we had bought MOAR of them! And I remember at the time they
had quite a number of them in stock. It kinda makes me wonder, if
they're even still open, if they might still have some. It'd be worth
the trip down to Cali even if they've just got a couple left. I might
try and look them up, give them a call and see.

TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS...EACH...for a piece of green fucking PLASTIC! o_O
