I was lounging in alt.current-events.blizzard-of-93 on Sun, 14 Jan

the locals were getting a little too free with the liquor supply in

I can relate to the hatred of car alarms given that the last couple
hours Eyeglazer and I were TRYING to sleep this morning, one of the
neighbors car alarm was going off THE WHOLE TIME. Apparently, they
weren't home, probably at a local church or something. But it went
off, continuously, for something like 3 hours.
The only amusing part about it was listening to the sound gradually
get weaker as the car battery died. I was really hoping it would be
dead by the time they got home, but sadly, they got home before it
stopped making noise.
