It being circulated in the Black community that if Obama doesn't win the
presidency that they're will be riots worse than the L.A. riots.
"An anxious murmur is rising among black voters as the presidential race
tightens: What if Barack Obama loses?
Black talk-show hosts and black-themed Web sites are being flooded with
callers and bloggers reflecting a nervousness -- and anger -- over the
campaign. Bev Smith, a nationally syndicated radio talk-show host, devoted
her entire three-hour show Monday night to the question: "If Obama doesn't
win, what will you think?"
"My audience is upset," she said in an interview. "Some people said they
would be so angry it would be reminiscent of the [1960s] riots -- that is
how despondent they would be."
Warren Ballentine, another nationally syndicated talk-show host, said: "Once
Sarah Palin was picked and African-Americans saw the Republicans ignited
again, they got worried. We are scared now."

September 14, 2008 -- The nomination of Barack
Obama as the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party is
historic.
He is the first African American presidential candidate of one of the
two major capitalist parties. He may win the election and become the
first black president, something inconceivable only two years ago.
That
a black man might become head of government in a society still marked
by
ingrained racism puts race at the centre of the election campaign ...
At the same time Obama is the candidate of a capitalist, imperialist
party. If he is elected, he will carry out policies in the interests
of
the US capitalist class. One front will be foreign policy, the central
question of which is what the US rulers will do about their military
debacles in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama has taken on the mantle of the
anti-war candidate. He has promised to bring home the troops from Iraq
in 16 months after he takes office, that is, by May 2010.

There has been a lot of talk about change lately. And after eight
years of Republican rule, it's definitely time for some.
I will vote for Barack Obama and the Democrats because I know that
they are our only real chance to move this country back on the right
path.
But change doesn't just mean kicking this dumb ass out of the white
house. if we change presidents without changing policies, our country
will keep slipping away from us. We have to hold the new people we
elect accountable, and make sure they move away from the failed
militaristic policies of the last eight years.
That's why Joe Biden's recent tough talk about the war in Georgia is
disturbing. It just doesn't sound like the change I am hoping for.
But Mr. Biden has done more than just talk tough. He has offered
Georgia a billion of our tax dollars. With huge deficits here at home,
change should mean that we think very carefully about offering any far-
away nation our tax money. But the facts about Georgia's current ruler
give us good reason to flatly reject giving aid to the country for as
long as he remains president.

I'm of two mind sets. As a socialist I will either vote for Nader or
McKinney to advance the need for class intendance. But as a supporter
of nationalism of the oppressed, I'm inclined to vote against the /de
facto/ race-bating campaign of McCain and elect the first Black
president.

Friend, belong yourself to the only true living God. He is
the Christian God and He created us, and He wants to give
to all who turn to Him salvation and healing and power
over sin and power over the Devil. God is the only, real,
true, living God of heaven and earth, and He wants
to save and heal more people. Millions of us are proofs
of His reality and His faithful love to us, and He, though
invisible most of the time to us, has appeared to some of us.
God wants to save as many people as are willing to belong
to Him. His yoke is easy and His burden light.
You Catholics, and Muslims, and everyone ought to tell
the devils, Devils get out! Get out!
Then call on the holy name of God's live glorified Son,
saying, Lord Jesus forgive me all my sins and save me.
Friend, pray with your whole spirit until you feel God's
soothing Holy Spirit flow down into you. Please
do not deprive yourself of this comforting experience
God has made for us to freely get. Call on the holy
name of Jesus. Cry, Jesus! Jesus! save me Lord Jesus!
Friend, believe in God and in Jesus Christ, and pray. ...

The Green Party held its convention in Chicago, five blocks from Obama's
HQ. If Obama's crew wanted to see what a real progressive candidate
looks like, they could have walked over for a look-see. Then they could
have gone home and had a good cry over the knowledge they are working to
put another conservative corporate-whore on the throne who is almost as
bad as his opponent.

The selection is Cynthia McKinney for presidential candidate with Rosa
A. Clemente as VP.

Something to be said about the speeches at Green conventions are that
they do bring up actual issues and not phony safe issues. You can
certainly tell that with Rosa A. Clemente's speech. Whoa! She is not
going to be heard on FoxNews any time soon.
