Oh my...cooking one or 2 dishes and bringing them somewhere else rather
than having a house full of people while you try to orchestrate a meal
for them...

I have already committed to a guest list of 4, and that, inadvertently
(adults only).

Im seriously considering a "roti de porc a la boulangere"

A bone in loin of pork cooked in a covering of sliced potatoes, herbs
and spices. I just cant lift those big birds anymore.

Me mums canned 'french cut' green beans with a cheddar cheese sauce

home made 'dressing' with canned cranberry sauce

garlic mashed potatoes & mashed yams with orange juice

Fresh green beans sauted in butter & garlic

My own version of steamed cauliflower in lemon, garlic and pepper

This year i am buying the desserts, defiantly a 'chocolate decadence'
and probly some ice cream & with any luck at all i wont be making a
pumpkin pie from scratch, "Neldam's" the day before to purchase the
pumpkin pie.

Now all i got to do is figure out some easy hors d' oeuvre. At this
point im thinking a fresh fruit & veggie & meat & cheeses with various
crackers and wine 'antipasto' type thingy.

Suggestions welcome.
