Mineral spirits?

I put powdered mustard in my dressings to emulsify the oil/vinegar mix.
As long as the oil is dispersed in separate tiny globules, there's
nothing to congeal. One of the additives in commercial dressings is
probably an emulsifying agent that works even better than mustard.
("Better" here means longer; forever, in fact.) Read the ingredients
list carefully. One of the additives would probably serve as a decent
dish-washing detergent.

Is this a test? If so, I'll guess lots of vinegar.

What do they put in commercial salad dressings to keep the olive or
vegetable oil from congealing in the fridge?

I know this is OT..But I hope you will accept it in the spirit it is offered

This was posted on an Annexcafe Group and I thought it would be relevant to
all us males here... (Men do not like to talk about it ) Try spreading
it around so the important message is well distributed... It's so true..Men
do not like to talk as I just said....

Testicular Cancer-The Silent Killer

So many things I never expected to write about..............................
After I wrote the article about men's cancers, friends shared more
information with me, particularly the male point of view, and I would like
to incorporate some of this new information here.

When I was young, the word breast was not to be said aloud, let alone breast
cancer. By the time everyone knew someone who had it, the words had lost the
stigma and could be said out loud, and even in mixed company. Lives are
being saved every day because we can talk about it.
