Creamy Apple Squares

1 package yellow pudding cake mix -- (18 1/2 ounces)
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 large red Delicious apples, unpeeled -- thinly sliced,
1 cup sour cream
1 egg

Combine cake mix and butter. Mix until crumbly. Remove 2/3 cup.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon and reserve for topping.
Press remaining cake/butter mixture into bottom of ungreased 13" by 9" pan.
Arrange apple slices on top. Blend sour cream and egg. Spread evenly over
apples.
Sprinkle reserved topping mixture over all.
Bake at 350
