8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
2 egg yolks
2 1/2 cups flour
Filling
2 1/2 cups ground pecans OR walnuts
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter -- melted
1 egg white
Confectioners' sugar

I had cookies last year that were made wih cooked(boiled egg) egg yolks.
It was a soft cookie and I can't find a recipe like that . Do you know
of a recipe like the one I am looking for?.Thanks.L.A.

Norwegian Butter Cookies

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 eggs
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Place whole eggs in a saucepan and cover completely with cold water. Bring
water to a boil. Cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water
for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool, peel, and separate yolks.
Preheat oven to 375'. Cream the butter and hard boiled egg yolks. Beat well.
Beat in the sugar. Add the flour and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Put through a
cookie press or arrange by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake
in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove
from baking sheet and cool on wire racks.
