Chocolate Wheatmeals

1/3 cup butter
7 tablespoons brwon crystal sugar
1 egg
1 ounce wheat germ
1 cup whole wheat self-rising flour
1/2 cup self-rising flour -- sifted
4 1/2 ounces chocolate

Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Stir in wheat
germ and flours. Bring mixture together in your hands.
Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls and place on prepared baking
sheet, allowing room for the cookies to spread during cooking.
Flatten cookies slightly with the prongs of a fork.
Bake in preheated 350
