Cops: Hernandez groped dead woman's sister, displayed porn to her mother at funeral

Author: GeorgeWashingtonAdmirer
Date: Apr 6, 2008 23:53

"A Boulder man was arrested early Thursday
after police said he crashed a memorial service,
grabbed the breast of the deceased woman's
sister and showed her mother pornographic
pictures ..."

Will this be La Rat-zas new slogan?:

"WE DIDN'T CRASH THE FUNERAL, THE
FUNERAL CRASHED US!"

Aside from the likelihood (IMO) of the scumbag being an illegal
alien, notice how the pro-illegal-alien corporate media virtually
ALWAYS describes individuals who actually admit to being illegal
aliens as "a Boulder man" or "a Pleasantville man" rather than more
truthfully and accurately as "an illegal alien from Mexico" or "a
citizen of El Salvador present in the United States illegally".

US needs to understand Islam better

By John L. Esposito and Dalia Mogahed/Lat-WP
Published: April 06, 2008, 10:24

Winning hearts and minds - the Bush administration, foreign-policy wonks, even the US military
agree that this is the key to any victory over global terrorism.

Yet our public diplomacy programme has made little progress towards improving America's image.
Few seem to recognise that American ignorance of Islam and Muslims has been the fatal flaw.

How much do Americans know about the views and beliefs of Muslims? According to polls, not
much. Perhaps not surprising, the majority of Americans (66 per cent) admit to having at least
some prejudice against Muslims; 1 in 5 say they have "a great deal" of prejudice. Almost half
do not believe American Muslims are "loyal" to this country, and 1 in 4 do not want a Muslim as
a neighbour.

Why should such anti-Muslim bias concern us? First, it undermines the war on terrorism:
Situations are misdiagnosed, root causes are misidentified and bad prescriptions do more harm
than good. Second, it makes our public diplomacy sound like double-talk.

US diplomats are trying to convince Muslims that the United States respects them and that the
war on terrorism is not out to destroy Islam. Their task is made infinitely more difficult by
the frequent airing of anti-Muslim sentiment on right-wing call-in radio, which is then heard
on the internet.

We Are Being Raped by the Oil Companies (Monopolies); It is Finally Time to Do Something About It

The will of the people controls our nation. It is time for all of us
to ask our government for help here. If they will not help us than we
need to elect people that will before it is too late

The past couple of years the oil companies have been raking in record
profits at the expense of all Americans and apparently it's OK with
them since they do nothing to the gangsters responsoble for the high
prices---the politicians.

"60 Minutes" - Now On Appeal Bond, Governor Siegelman Asks Karl Rove To Testify About His Role In Getting Siegelman Indicted

Siegelman tells "60 Minutes" he wanted Rove to testify about his
prosecution

Posted by Kim Chandler -- The Birmingham News April 06, 2008 7:59 PM

http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2008/04/siegelman_tells_60_minutes_he.html

Former Gov. Siegelman told television's "60 Minutes" this evening that
he wanted White House adviser Karl Rove to testify before Congress
about his prosecution.

Siegelman has claimed Rove and other Republicans intent on destroying
his political career were behind his 2006 bribery and obstruction of
justice conviction. The former governor told "60 Minutes" he wanted
Rove to testify before a congressional committee that has investigated
Siegelman's case.

"He can either take the Fifth or tell the truth. Either one will
satisfy me," Siegelman told "60 Minutes."

Rove has denied any involvement in Siegelman's case.

The CBS news program aired a brief update on Siegelman's case.
Siegelman, who had served nine months in prison, was freed after the
11th Circuit Court of Appeals granted him an appeal bond.

Veteran Officer Charged With Sexually Assaulting Girl

POSTED:
1:29 pm EDT April 3, 2008
(http://www.nbc10.com/news/15783899/detail.html?dl=headlineclick)

Sgt. Brian Robinson, 47, of Gloucester Township, was charged with aggravated
sexual assault, a first-degree crime, aggravated assault, and two counts of
endangering the welfare of a child.
He has served on the Cherry Hill police force for 18 years.

Cherry Hill police officials wouldn't speak on camera.

But some officers off camera said many at the department were surprised by
the sexual assault charges leveled against one of their own.

Robinson is accused of sexually assaulting the teen in Lindenwold and
Gloucester Township locations over the past three years, authorities said.

They said the most recent incident occurred about a month ago. An
acquaintance of the victim contacted authorities on March 14. Robinson was
arrested and charged on March 15.

"He's a fine officer, got great reputation except for this smear," Ron
Helmer, Robinson's attorney, said.
