Well, you're right. And the word "deportation" never was used in the two
examples Tomnln cited. Instead, Marina was advised that she needed to
cooperate "if she wanted to live in this country." I'm sure the FBI
agents in both cases would contend that they were not making a threat but
passing along friendly advice. Besides in that part of Marina's WC
testimony that Tomnln decided to expunge (because it made his deportation
claim look foolish), she was assured by the Chief Counsel of the WC that
she could remain in this country even if she refused to testify before the
WC. Marina also testified in that section that she had received similar
assurances from an INS official. Of course, this is Tomnln we're talking
about so this is all wasted verbiage. He won't admit he cheated on...

According to the website:
This is the remarkable true story of St. John Hunt and his father E.
Howard Hunt, the infamous Watergate burglar and CIA spymaster. It is
the story of a father's last confession to his son about the CIA,
Watergate, and the plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy. It
is also the story of a family destroyed by the national tragedy of
Watergate, of a son who lost his mother in a mysterious plane crash at
the height of the scandal, and lost his father to prison in the wake
of that scandal. It is a story of loss and redemption, of secrets and
their consequences.

Donald P. Norton began his employment with the CIA in early 1958 at
Fort Benning, Georgia. In February his CIA handler told him to to
meet a man named "Hugh Ferris" at the Atlanta Airport and pick up a
package. Nortan arrived at the airport an met "Hugh Ferris," who was
wearing sunglasses and accompanied by a young lady named Carlotta
Roth, a dancer at the Domino Lounge in Atlanta. "Ferris" gave Norton
a package, which appearedto be a case of phonograph records, and told
him "it" was in the case. Norton undersood that "it" was $150,000 in
cash which was to be delivered to Carlo Media, a Cuban television star
who was working with the CIA againt the corrupt regime of Fulgenico
Batista.
After travelling to Cuba and delivering the package to Media, Norton
returned to Atlanta and reported to his CIA contact. His contact
instructed him to once again meet "Hugh Ferris" at the Atlanta
airport. When "Ferris" arrived at the meeting, Norton noticed that he
was wearing a very sloppy wig. Two years later, in 1960, Norton
visited New Orleans and stopped by the My-O-My Club, and saw the man
from whom he had picked up the package in Atlanta. Norton positively
identified the man as David W. Ferrie.

JLeyden is WRONG;
The word "deport" is clearly in Robert's testimony.
Volume I page 410.

Well, Tom is beyond help and beyond hope, apparently. He fails both
reading and writing and, probably arithmetic, too. But go to his
dishonest website entry he lists above and see for yourselves. He
includes Vol. 1, p.79 which has Marina testifing that a field FBI
agent told she needed to cooperate if she wanted to continue to live
in this country but then deletes the next page (p.80) where the WC
Chief Counsel assures here she has nothing to fear and Marina
testified that the INS told her the same thing.
Tom just can't admit this, however, because manipulating the testimony
in this way makes him out to be a pretty disreputable guy.
But that's hardly news.
