NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD, Petitioner,
v.
ALMEIDA BUS LINES, INC., Respondent.
No. 6260.
United States Court of Appeals First Circuit.
June 25, 1964.

Respondent, a Massachusetts corporation with its principal office and
terminal in New Bedford, is engaged in providing bus transportation to
the public on runs set up by the Massachusetts Department of Public
Utilities. In the latter part of 1961, the Union1 instituted an
organizing campaign among respondent's employees. This campaign
culminated in a Board conducted election on October 27, 1961, which
was won by the Union. On January 18, 1962, the Union filed unfair
labor practice charges against respondent which were supplemented by
amended charges filed on March 16 and April 23, 1962. On March 22,
1962, an original charge against respondent was filed by one Gilbert
Jesus, a former employee. The cases were consolidated for hearing.

HELLO JOE:

To answer your question that was after he left Almeida Bus Lines. He
was threatened with his job if he voted for a union. He voted for it
and they let him go.

I noticed that you used the word "fired" as a mockery, omitting that
the NLRB

"trial examiner found that respondent had 'discriminatorily refused to
give regular work as a bus driver to Jesus in order to discourage
union membership and activity.' "

You also forgot to mention that the National Labor Relations Board
found in favor of my dad.

"And where the Board failed to disclose an improper motive with regard
to the discharge of Olivera, it has succeeded in the case of Gilbert
Jesus."

"The order pertaining to Jesus, as modified by the Board, will be
enforced."

As a result of this NLRB ruling , dad filed a civil suit against
Almeida Bus Lines and won that too.

Did someone squeeze your head ?

THE RELIGIOUS FRAUD KNOWN AS BURLYGUARD

I don't believe much of what Burlyfraud says. First of all, he's here
to disrupt the discussion and he's using the topic of religion
( particularly, my own beliefs ) to achieve that.

He doesn't really know if I'm Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, Hindu
Buddhist, or Muslim. he assumes I'm a "born again Christian".
All he/she knows is that I posted scripture and what it said about
homosexuality.

Unable to goad me into a debate about MY religion, he's now taken his
campaign of distraction to the next level and has resorted to insults
and threats.

Born-again Christians don't do that. As he judges me, so will he be
judged.

And I'm not the only one he insults. He insults other Cters as well:

Funny how you have no problem minding your own business when the evil
is being hurled at the CTers.
