A few days ago I went to see a friend in Newington, CT. As I went north
on the Berlin Turnpike from Meriden, CT. I noticed all the gas prices.
Some as low as $4.03 to a high of $4.18 for regular gas. Some stations
offered a lower price if you paid cash. The price of gas must come down.
The Oil producing nations are only hurting themselves. Everywhere I look
I see gas stations closing. Why? When the price was low people would buy
gas 3 or 4 times a week. Now, myself included, they only buy once a
week. Lower sales means less money and the station owners are forced to
close. I saw gas stations in Meriden, Wallingford, and Southington, CT.
that have turned off the pumps and locked their doors! I hope the price
continues to go down, if not, I'm sure you'll see more stations close as
time goes on...
