DMV worker busted in license scam

BRIDGEPORT - A former state Department of Motor Vehicles employee was
arrested Thursday for allegedly selling driver's licenses to illegal
immigrants.
Kimyatta "Yatta" Bivens-Little, 34, of New Haven, was charged with violating
the state Corrupt Organizations and Racketeering Act, bribe receiving,
conspiracy to receive bribes, conspiracy to commit second-degree forgery and
second-degree forgery.

She was released after posting $500,000 bond pending arraignment Oct. 23 in
Superior Court.

Bivens-Little is one of six Bridgeport DMV office employees who have been
arrested for selling illegal licenses.

Last October, DMV employees Tracy Lucas Stevenson, 32, of Stratford, and
Venita Bines, 41, of Bridgeport, were each sentenced to seven years in
prison.
