My PC doesn't load the Memory Card.

Author: ulixi

Hi,
I have just formatted the Hadisk and installed Win XP. Now I cannot
view anymore the pictures I have in the Memory Card because Win XP
doesn't load it. Win XP doesn't see the Memory Card. And yet before
formatting my PC worked fine.
Perhaps are there not the driver? How could I do?
I thank you.

  microsoft outlook 2003

Hi i've encountered something very strange recently.

I recieved a HTML email from a company(not spyware or one of those
type of software)
and i can see everything cleary but when i forward it for someone else
outlook 2003 just changes the HTML email instantley, and everything
turns into
an attachment. but what the strange thing is i don't see no URL or
nothing else
only those attachments and nothing else.

I've made some printscreen so you can understand what i really mean.

This is the original HTML email that i got:
http://theprogtagonist.googlegroups.com/web/Pib+origineel+msg.jpg?hl=en&gda=NFir...
and this is how it's going to end up when i forward the email to
someone else

http://theprogtagonist.googlegroups.com/web/PIB+forward+msg.jpg?hl=en&gda=X8AuYU...

can someone describe what the heck is going on to me

Thank You In Advance

  spyware story

Hi All...
Well I been looking at the posts in this group on almost a daily basis...
haven't contributed a lot but just had something occur this evening I wanted
to pass on.

I do a part-time pc and network support business and during the last few
weeks have had customers get a nasty spyware that basically replaces the
background with usually a white screen with a large gray and red box in the
middle and a message "warning spyware detected on your computer".

The normal route running spybot, adaware, superantispyware are ineffective
(haven't tried spysweeper or sypware doctor yet). Also on every case I came
across the system restore points are wiped out. Nasty!

The systems I worked on were fortunately in the 2-3 year old range so I
advised the customers that maybe a data backup and system rebuild may be in
order. It would not only definitely fix the spyware problems but also give
them a clean system once again. Easy fixes.

Now I am inviting flame from everybody

Right from Win98 days I have been disabling pagefile and have never encountered
any problem. In WinXP Pro 768 memory and pagefile disabled. Doing video edit,
DVD burning, music edit etc no problem.

  Watching recorded DVD's with Vista.

Author: Alex Clayton

I have a couple DVD recorders, use DVD+RW media to record TV shows. On my XP
machines these play with WMP. I can copy them to the hard drive and watch or
watch off the disk. I made the mistake of trying to copy one on this Vista
machine, then watch, and it crashed so bad I had to format it. I then tried
to watch one, this has WMP 11 and 2 other DVD players that came with it.
None of them can play them. Anyone know a way to play these on Vista. Home
premium if it matters, and the machine plays commercial DVD's great using
any of the players on it, just will not play the recorded ones.

How may I save streaming video (eg. from YouTube) to my hard drive ?

Actually, I am more interested in the sound than the vision.

I am using Windows XP.

Thanks for any help.

George.

Sounds as though you are using an Install CD which may be OK for an UPGRADE
but is not what you need for an UPDATE. They are different things. Can you
be clearer?
