I have IE6 (hated 7) and I want to change the background color of the yahoo
homepage. In the right top corner under the search box there is a Page
Options you can click on, and I know this is where you can change the
background color. However, when I click on it, it only reloads the yahoo
page. Why? and is this something wrong on Yahoo's end? Any other way to
change the background away from the default blue?

I downloaded open office but only chose to install Calc and Writer.
However, now I have no use for Calc, how can I just uninstall that portion
of open office to free up those resources???
Downfall to Open Office is that it is a HUGE resource hog. I have DSL and
it took me 50 minutes to download.

I live in the country too far out for broadband.
Is there an alternative to my slow dial up?
Thanks

Hi,
I have a Dell Dimesnsion 4700 with the 2 little speakers and big sub
woofer.
Recently I started getting a static noise that just keeps on going at a
pretty frequent rate. It is like a little popping noise. Not too
loud, but very annoying.
I have no idea what could have caused it. The most recent thing I
installed was a new driver for a cell phone that I hook up to the pc
sometimes.
Anybody have any ideas what might cause this kind of intermittent
popping noise?
I have a pretty good sound card in this computer since I use it for a
lot of recording.
Thanks in advance for any info.
Steve

After I close the Internet Explorer I get the following message
"The instruction "0x371351 referenced memory at 0x00000004",
The memory could not be read, click on O.K. to terminate the
program.
What is the reason I am getting this message and how to eliminate
this?
Using I.E. version 7.0.5730.11
