It's even worse than you think. All those rich guys (follow the Forbes
"Richest 400 people in America" special issue that comes out every
year) include lots of wheeler-dealer financial types who pull the
levers, throw the switches, and make the wheels go round, cheat on
taxes, cheat anywhere they can, trick anyone, the whole nine yards.
Currently I am reading the book "The Robber-Barrons" by Josephson, the
classic work on the subject, copyright 1934. Lots of references to
prior works, too.
Bunch of crooks, if you ask me.
