CEOs increased their pay in 2008

Most ceos are just fast talking con men in suits.

One could pull a bum off the streets, dress him in a suit and place
him in a CEOs office. I bet nobody at the company would know the
difference. The only difference it would make is the company would
have one less useless fellow draining profits out of the company while
doing nothing.

Workers who create the products that keep the company afloat should be
given good money. Not these useless CEOs.

It's even worse than you think. All those rich guys (follow the Forbes
"Richest 400 people in America" special issue that comes out every
year) include lots of wheeler-dealer financial types who pull the
levers, throw the switches, and make the wheels go round, cheat on
taxes, cheat anywhere they can, trick anyone, the whole nine yards.
Currently I am reading the book "The Robber-Barrons" by Josephson, the
classic work on the subject, copyright 1934. Lots of references to
prior works, too.

Bunch of crooks, if you ask me.
