I'm not keen on DotNet, but I can understand why New Improved Borland
want to cover that area.

Around here, in general, we are pretty polite with each other, Delphi
coders are pretty rare, so it makes sense to avoid conflict.

As it happens, if you have a paid up version of Delphi Pro, then I
don't see what the fuss is about, and if you don't have D Pro then it
must be a nightmare not being able to figure out what is going on.

What would be the advantage over a single .exe? You wouldn't be able to
distribute an updated .exe and leave the .bpls alone, since the .bpl
might not contain the routines that the new .exe uses.
