Please respond - Wind Powered Generators. I will be reading for responses in this newsgroup.

Author: a
Date: Jul 12, 2008 20:54

I will be reading the comments in this newsgroup for the next few days and
learning from those that are positive and helpful.

I know that this is an out of topic posting to this newsgroup. That is a
reason that I am posting here. I want to learn from people that are not in
the business of cogenerating energy. I want to read in this newsgroup
valuable comments from a fresh perspective. By off topic posting to random
newsgroups, herein I may gain an honest response.

There are definition links for you to read. There is physics data, and NASA
data that is referenced. I would like your honest opinion. I would like to
read logical responses. Childish screaming about commercial posting or out
of topic posting to this newsgroup will not slow my quest to find logical
and valuable responses. Someone on this newsgroup will be able to think for
themselves and will give me an honest and logical response that I may learn
from and potentially use. I look forward to your opinion.

Topic: WIND POWERED GENERATORS.

I would like to introduce you to a new wind powered generator company.

These are specifically for LOW wind speeds. These are affordable sized for
the average (non-city) U.S. homeowner.

Like spam.

Can anybody decipher this spammer's header info to find out who he's
posting this stuff through? Obviously, it's not newsfeeds.com (look at
the path and the message ID). Besides, I filed a complaint with
newsfeeds.com yesterday and they haven't gotten back to me yet.

I'm thinking that this garbage is being posted through t-online:

http://www.t-online.de/c/00/00/04/46.html

I also know that the website being promoted in the spam is hosted
through Ecommerce:

http://www.ecommerce.com/

and that they have an email address for complaining about abuse here:

abuse@ecommerce.com

(don't use your main email address to complain to them though.)

  The # 1 Wholesale Guide

Author: robert m

How do I know that this "wholesale List" is the best their is?

First of all, I have interviewed over 50 eBay power sellers and ask them to
reveal

exactly where and how they got their hands on the products they sell. I
didn't just guess,

and I didn' t just search through the Internet, copied all of the suppliers
web addresses and

sold what I copied to you.

I have also bough my competitors' products ( wholesale lists ),and I can
tell you that my

product is hands down the best there is.

This wholesale resource product is the best because it doesn't only give you
links to

wholesalers, manufacturers and drop-shippers, it tells you where to find them
as well.

Regularlyall you would get from a wholesale list is just a bunch of useless
links to suppliers'

websites. Most of the links would probably be dead and the suppliers out of
business.

Ways to speed up your system that Microsoft hid within the system!

Author: jaykay21089

Hey all,

Slow browser loading (or not at all)? Can't run more than one
application at a time? We've all been there.

There is a wealth of information online about how to solve these
problems. It's often hard to find a gem amidst the coals. I've seen
some guys charge up towards $97 for this information or even worse,
computer technicians come over to your place to "fix" the problem,
often charging $300 upwards, only to leave your computer in no better
shape than it was before you came, or even worse off, toggling with
your settings and so forth.

Chris Mainieri's "PC Secret Formula" is that gem amongst the coals.
The video of a computer that he applies with his SF is phenomenal:
Photoshop boots up in 5 seconds, he opens up >20 browsers without
having the computer freeze... you've really gotta see it to believe
it.

  Photoshop on steroids?

Author: jaykay21089

I’m sure I speak for all of you when I say doesn’t it suck when you
get a new computer and it’s running beautifully, but as time goes by,
it just gets slower and slower, even if you don’t use heaps of
applications?

And when you do use heaps of applications, like say you are doing web
design and use Photoshop, the cobwebs that grow over your screen as
you watch it boot up are somewhat annoying huh?

IT’S JUST SOOO SLOW!

There is a way to speed it up, however.

Or say you’re trying to stream heaps of videos online at the same
time, while chatting to 10 mates on MSN and downloading songs, and
then it freezes?...

You could seriously just toss the desktop/laptop out the window.

I’ve seen multiple (and I’m talking like 20 or more) browser windows
been opened after powerful things – that are included within all
computers – have been activated so that there is no laggage AT ALL!

And the photoshop? Loading time?

5 seconds.

How interested are you folks in ITX and small motherboards?

Author: TBerk
Date: May 9, 2008 13:09

As just one example:
http://www.mini-itx.com/

OR a wiki page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mini-ITX

I have always fabricated unusual computer systems over the years, like
using the original IBM AT chassis with an upgraded Pentium family
system inside, etc.

Now there are these really small boards w/ processor pre-installed,
all you need add is power, memory, and storage- While not the fastest
things they look interesting.

Are Xeon or Itanium Procs Ever Used In Personal Desktops?

Author: Jeffrey L. Hook
Date: Apr 22, 2008 23:53

1. Are Intel Xeon or Itanium processors ever used in high-performance
single-processor desktop personal computer systems?

2. Are these processors so customized for multiple-processor systems that
they'd be inappropriate in single-processor systems?

3. Are these processors inferior to high-end processors such as Intel's
Core 2 Quad processors for use in single-processor personal computer
systems?

+++++++++++++++++++++

(Optional background information):

I'm selecting components for my first Do It Yourself system unit. I'd
decided to choose one of Intel's three Core 2 Quad 45 nm processors
but I then found Intel's "Public Roadmap" for the second half of calendar
year 2007, at:
