Folks Fantastic Freeware Favorites

We haven't had a favorite Freeware thread for a while. What's everybody
using and liking these days?

Special request: please post the ACF link to the program's description
along with the program name (or add a note if the program isn't listed).
IMO that's an easy way to give folks some info about the program and it
will help me spot apps I should add. TIA for your help.

No problem, it was a requesr, not an order. ;)

but. . . I don't know how long you *think* it takes to add URLs - it
goes pretty fast. Just out of curiosity I'll do your list and time
myself while I do it.

Most recently? MEPIS v7 and Gwenview. Will probably be taking Foresight
v1.4.1 for a run this weekend.
