I need a freeware program to shrink the avi files produced by my digital
video camera. I want to shrink short clips, so that they are small enough
for email. I tried AVI Recomp, but it doesn't like the audio format produced
by my camera.

Start:

First start Dorgem and go to 'Store settings'. Click add and select the
'file' radio button. Enter a name and under 'file name' browse to the
'fscommand/file.jpg'in this directory. Click ok and save. Now click
'options' and check the 'use motion detection' checkbox and click ok. Make
sure that the 'Auto capture' checkbox is selected.
If you're using another webcam software program just make sure that the
file captured is a jpg called file.jpg and it gets dumped in the
'fscommand' folder.

Yes, it will create paper banners. Not as good as a banner program I
still have but, unfortunately, that old banner program won't work on
WinXP.

Anyway, printed up a simple on in PrintMaster Express that was nothing
special at all except that it was easier than if I'd tried to do it in
Word.

The only thing is that I couldn't figure out how to put a decorative
page border on it. I ended up with a "Welcome" banner of plain, grey
text. (This version also comes without any graphics at all, so I'll
have to start collecting some clipart for this app.)

Was wondering if anyone had figured out how to make page borders. Or
is this something else that one has to look for compatible page border
clipart, as well, as put it in with the installed program?

Any comments on how others have done this much appreciated. :)
