I've posted enough. I know I posted some negative comments about DNA,
Fox Searchlight and Jason but I did so because I want to see a proper
Dredd film. If you find out the production company's last film got a
tiny US release you're entitled to be concerned. I was expressing my
concern, that's all. It's totally reasonable to be concerned.
Rebellion don't want to make Dredd 2 and find out it's got a tiny US
release. That would be a disaster. And I was the only fan to highlight
this concern. No-one else has mentioned it so at least it shows I care
about the film.
I do think my screenplays can work, they could/should or would make a
good Dredd film. If Jason likes them he can have them for free and
give me a screenwriting credit, if he likes them but wants to take the
credit then he can have them for a £1000. That's not a lot relative to
a 40 million dollar budget. I'm not being unreasonable.

I did a song a year or so ago. I remixed Mint Royale's Wait For You
song and made it Dredd-like:

That is how I see Dredd - the vibe of that song translated into a
film. :)
Jason thinks I'm a mad loon but it's all there in my screenplays, the
stories work, faithful, Dredd is Dredd, it's close to Wagner's style.
He should reconsider my screenplays. It's on the page, the real deal.
It's Dredd, proper screenplays waiting to be considered. They're 100
percent faithful to Wagner's vision. Honest.
I would never go on about something like this if I wasn't 100 percent
genuine. If anyone reads my screenplays you will see they're totally
faithful to Dredd, to a good standard, intelligently done. They could
be ideal screenplays for the next Dredd film so he should give me one
chance to prove it.

Wow, they invest 40 million in the film and release it in just 461
theaters?
That's crazy. They killed the film's chances.
There's no way Jason should deal with DNA/Fox Searchlight. If they
don't secure a proper distribution deal - thousands of screens - the
film will die in its first week of release. I hope Jason realizes
this. It's all fine and dandy saying "we will make a new Dredd film
with DNA films" but I hope Jason realizes how Fox Searchlight killed
off Sunshine's US box office chances!
If Fox Searchlight don't have faith in the finished Dredd film, it
will flop. It will be dead on arrival. This is very worrying. Jason
should run the other way! Forget DNA and Fox Searchlight!
