Hi,
I've got a hand-me-down Nokia from my daughter who just *must* have the
latest update, so I get her old one without any instructions :-)
Apart from Nokia, there's no clue on it as to which model it is. Anyway,
when a call comes in, the screen says "audio to loudspeaker", and I can't
find how to turn it off and it's driving me nuts.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

Don't have the model # nor the manual. That's gotta be... frustrating.

Thanks for making me smile Steve. Apologies for enjoying your
misfortune but you do paint an amusing pic. Anyway, try going to
< http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4221002> to identify your phone there.
At that point, you should be able to suss out the manual from the same
website. If not, post again.

Usually, with Nokia phones, the model number is under the battery.

Oh, thanks for that, it was under the chip thingy revealed when the battery
was removed. It's a 6230.
