WARNING!
If you are about to import a valuable consignment of products from China
from a company you have not dealt with before beware that there are now many
fraudulent offers being made via the Internet and especially from particular
well known websites specialising in sourcing products.
Many of these services offer Silver or Gold "seals of approval" but we know
that many buyers are now regularly being caught unawares by fraudulent
sellers who register with a real company name and then use a different
trading address other than the registered address that has been verified.
They are very sophisticated in convincing you and they use all the tricks of
web cloning to put on a good presentation. You send them your money and get
nothing in return!
Don't get caught!
There are only two ways to be really sure:-
1. The best way, obviously, is to personally visit the company. This could
prove very expensive when you get there and find that they don't even exist.
2. Send a Chinese speaking local auditor to visit the company for you.
We are a member of a trading consortium (
www.globaltrade.ibc.hk ) and have
been importing from China for quite a few years now.
