You're a lying piece of shit, and you just confirmed it beyond the
shadow of a doubt! Educated _Indian_ immigrants(not "hindu immigrants",
you douchebag!) who came to the US in the 60s and 70s were educated
largely at English schools in India, a number of them run by Christian
groups. And these schools were decried as "elitist" and "colonialist"
and "Macaulay's follys" and so on, even by assholes like you in the
usenet exchanges of the 90s. If anything, the quality of English being
taught in India has since declined because of the proliferation of
"English-medium" schools of doubtful qualification run by people with
anything but proficiency in English, seeking to capitalize on business
opportunities in the call-center field.

If "english took off in india in earnest following wave of hindu
immigrants to usa", why isn't American English being taught in schools
in India?

So why are you in Victoria, TX, preaching hatred of Christians?

That must be because they are "kirastanis", you dumb f**k! That's the
reason you get away with writing the shit that you do.

In India, this is what happens because of infiltration of the judiciary
by VHP and RSS shitheads:

Allahabad (AsiaNews) – S. N. Srivastava, of the Allahabad High Court in
Uttar Pradesh, has ruled that the state has a duty to recognise the
Bhagavad Gita as rashtriya dharma shastra or national religious
doctrine. According to the judge, the Bhagavad Gita, the most popular
and best loved Hindu epic poems, must be taught to members of other
religions.

Judge Srivastava has a track record on intervening in religious matters.
At the start of this year he denied Muslims the status of religious
minority, thus depriving them of state subsidies in the educational field.

Reactions to the ruling were swift. A Hindu lawmaker, B. P. Singhal,
said the judge “has justice in mind, not as a Hindu but as a judge.”

By contrast, Sajan K. George, who chairs the Global Council of Indian
Christians, said that whilst the Bhagavad Gita “is part of Indian
culture, it cannot be seen as a religious text for all faiths. This goes
against the constitution which guarantees religious freedom.”

Lenin Raghuvanshi, director of the People's Vigilance Committee on Human
Rights, minces even fewer words. He told AsiaNews that “this sentence
strikes at religious minorities, but also at the pluralistic nature of
our society. If we go in this direction we run the risk of undermining
social harmony.”
