This one single issue of Sabbath is so significant that by how we
understand the Sabbath we can know if we are in the true religion God
Yahweh-God of the Bible accepts us as His children.

There are two contending views : one is that Sabbath is on Saturday
and another is that Sabbath is now on Sunday.
Ronald Weinland that wrote the book : " 2008 . God's Final Witness "
and he considers himself as the last prophet of God of Abraham and
predicts the end of the world soon shares this view .
Then we have Harold Camping who wrote a book : " We Are Almost There
" in which he predicts the end of the world in 2011 AD claims that
Sunday is now Sabbath day .

These two are my best opponents right now as they pose most serious
challenge to my views and my prediction of the end of the present evil
world order in 2011 AD.

OIL HITS NEW HIGH ON IRAN FEARS

Crude oil has jumped to new record highs above $147, driven by ongoing
geopolitical concerns over Iran.

US light sweet crude rose to highs of $147.27, before dipping back to
$145.08. In London, Brent crude climbed to $147.02, before settling at
$144.49.

Market experts put the increase down to concerns about Opec member
Iran's recent missile tests, concerns about global supplies and the weak
dollar.

As a result, oil prices have jumped more than $10 in the past two days.

On Thursday, oil prices surged by almost $6 on the back of worries about
missle tests by Iran - the second largest member of oil producing cartel
Opec.

A day earlier, the country successfully test-fired long and medium-range
missiles adding to concerns about Tehran's disputed nuclear programme.

'ALARMING' PLIGHT OF CORAL REEFS

A third of the world's reef-building coral species are facing extinction.

That is the stark conclusion from the first global study to assess the
extinction risks of corals.

Writing in the journal Science, researchers say climate change, coastal
development, overfishing, and pollution are the major threats.

The economic value of the world's reefs has been estimated at over $30bn
(£15bn) per year, through tourism, fisheries and coastal protection.

'NEW CJD TYPE' DISCOVERED IN US

A new form of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) may have been uncovered in
a handful of patients in the US.

Ten people have so far died from a fast-advancing form of fatal dementia
called PSPr, New Scientist reports.

Patients develop the trademark brain damage associated with CJD - the
type not linked to BSE - but scientists believe there may be a genetic
cause.

Experts in the UK are now checking records to see if any cases have
happened across the Atlantic.

There are between 50 and 100 new cases of so-called sporadic CJD
diagnosed in the UK every year.

If you've posted and read various Christian newsgroups for any length of
time then you are very aware of individuals who teach false gospel and who
also hate, curse and mistreat anyone and everyone who attempts to correct
them Biblically in love. There are also individuals who hate, curse and
mistreat Christians just for having faith in Jesus Christ. They obviously
lack the joy and happiness that the Holy Spirit brings and would rather tear
Christians down in some perverse form of pleasure. We, as Christians, need
to pray for them as Jesus taught. Ron Ritchie's article addresses a very
similar issue. I hope this brings about some enlightenment
and encouragement.

*Introduction*

The word "baptize" (from the Greek baptidzo) means "to identify" or "to be
made one with". In early Greek, the word had both religious and secular
meanings. In general, it refers to the act of identifying one thing with
another thing in such a way that its nature or character is changed, or it
represents the idea that a real change has already taken place.

As a reference to identification, "baptize" means to place a person (or
thing) into a new environment, or into union with some one or something
else, so as to alter his (its) condition or relationship to the previous
environment.
