Condemnation And Prayer.
Shepherd your people with your staff,
the flock of your inheritance,
That dwells apart in a woodland,
in the midst of Carmel.
Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,
as in the days of old;
As in the days when you came from the land of Egypt,
show us wonderful signs.

Second:
Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom
is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say
to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the
kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
The "Kingdom of Heaven" is not some heavenly paradise you will go to if
you are a good boy or girl here on earth. The "Kingdom" is here
already. Right in front of you. It even IS you!

Congratulations! to those readers who have resolutely continued with the
Daily Reading for the last six months. For they have now read half the Old
Testament, and ALL of the New.
May God bless your continued effort and dedication.
Bible Readings for Today
2 Samuel 7
Jeremiah 12
Matthew 23
For those who want to go directly to the source of this study guide,
it can be found at http://www.antipas.org/readings/readings.html
It takes normally between 20-30 mins per day depending on one's reading
speed.
It will be found many unanswered questions which may have seemed puzzling
and "Hard to be understood" are slowly and precisely answered as the Bible
is methodically read through day after day.
Here is a helpful link for anyone who either does not have a Bible to
hand, or might prefer reading from their computer, or might want to compare
different translations, or even read non-English versions:

Malachi's prophecy in the last chapter of the Old Testament says
Elijah the prophet will return, before the arrival of the day of
the Lord.
Malachi 4:5-6
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the
great and dreadful day of the LORD:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the
heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the
earth with a curse.
Referring to this prophecy, Jesus said Elijah had come already, as
John the Baptist was a fulfilment of the prophecy. Thus he showed
that the prophecy is not speaking of Elijah's literal return from
the grave! But John's ministry did not completely fulfil Malachi's
prophecy. And Jesus said that Elijah would "restore all things,"
which does not fit John's ministry. Luke gives an account of John's
ministry:
Luke 3:1-6
Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius
Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of
Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the...

That does not mean "atheist", although atheists are
without God. In fact, in one case, Paul includes those
who are idolaters. Are they "atheists"?
Being "without God" simply meant without the one
true God.
> Agnosticism simply means 'to know not' when applied
> to knowing God or not.
Actually, it means that one is saying that we cannot
know whether or not a Supreme Being exists.
In other words, agnosticism doesn't just means that
someone is saying that they don't know, but rather,
that it is not possible for mankind to know for sure.

The spiritual realm, a realm most folk are oblivious to, a realm of
infinite and eternity, a realm where anything happens. A realm most
are not ready for, yet bit by bit God prepares you for the future,
shakes you around a bit, exposes you to the devils and trains you how
to defeat them. Day by day the demons may attack yet those who are
close to God and out of them selfs are trained in the spiritual realm,
slowly and progressively can not get spooked out by wierd and strange
things it happens all around the world

In the following sermon George Whitefield preaches on the topic of profane
cursing and swearing taking Matthew 5:34 as the catalyst for his sermon.
Whitefield's warnings to Christians are ones which would be wise to heed.
May God bless,
Carl

The Heinous Sin Of Profane Cursing And Swearing
by George Whitefield
Matthew 5:34, "But I say unto you, Swear not at all."
Among the many heinous sins for which this nation is grown infamous, perhaps
there is no one more crying, but withal more common, than the abominable
custom of profane swearing and cursing. Our streets...

We, as Christians, should take opportunities to share the Gospel but in this
politically correct age we live in with the rampant, radical,
anti-Christian, secular sentiment being pushed down our throats sometimes
Christians get intimidated. However we, as Christians are called upon by God
to be bold in our faith (Prov. 28:1; Eph. 3:12) and not be lukewarm (Rev.
3:16). Billy Graham's evangelical sermon presented below preached almost 50
years ago deals in part with those afraid to witness for Christ. It is an
exhortation that is applicable today.
May God bless,
Carl
