Basic qualifications: The successful candidate will be a graduate with a track record of business process improvement and IT project implementation. Demonstration of project management experience is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and time management are essential. Preferred qualifications: The candidate should have an understanding of pharmaceutical drug development. The candidate will be able to organise their own work schedule and be able to work effectively as part of a matrix team. A strong understanding of computer system lifecycle management is preferred. R&D Enhance or similar Lean Sigma training is preferred. Details: To provide line management and operational direction for the development, implementation, support and ownership of IT/Business solutions serving the clinical trial supply chain within PreClinical Development. Provide leadership and support to local lead user networks across PD/PCD locations (Harlow, Ware, UM/UP, RTP, Mississauga, Evreux, Verona) and a broader user community (ChemDev, Clinical, Global QA). In partnership with PreClinical IT and Business representatives, play key role in developing upgrades and enhacements to existing systems and implementing new ones, in response to evolving business needs. Current systems supported by the PD-IS Supply Chain Systems team include Comet (Inventory), Xpress (Shipping), RAMOS (IVRS), ClinPro (labelling), SMART (resupply), Sim+ (simulation), CSDOS (contract management) and forecast & scheduling tools.
