Opportunities exist in several senior validation roles depending upon the candidates qualifications. Specific roles available include: * Validation project leadership for new product introductions. Responsibilities would include validation management for new products, new facilities and external manufacturing: Validation Master Planning, risk analysis, and validation project management. * Project leadership of multi-year initiatives to redesign validation business processes. Responsibilities would include the review and re-design of guidelines, procedures and validation methods so as to provide efficient, compliant study execution. * Leadership of validation groupsof between 4 and 16 people, depending upon experience. Responsibilities would include personnel management and development, project prioritization, resource management, GMP oversight of work, and regulatory support. Experience with validation is not necessary for these positions.

Qualifications

This position is available as either a Senior Process Scientist / Engineer, or a Process Scientist / Engineer, depending on the experience and education of the chosen candidate. For the Senior Process Scientist / Engineer position, a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or in Biological Sciences, is required. Work experience in validation, process development or other engineering, scientific or Quality functions is required. For the Process Scientist / Engineer position, a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or in Biological Sciences, is required. For candidates with a Bachelors degree, at least 6 years of work experience in validation, process development or other engineering, scientific or Quality functions is required. All candidates must possess demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, excellent analytical abilities, and established written and verbal communication skills. Experience in a process or analytical technical role, or in a Quality function, is desirable.
