Network Management Systems Engineer/Administrator
We have been engaged by a well know client who is seeking a Network Management Systems Engineer/Administrator on a long term consulting basis. In this role, the Network Management Systems Engineer/Administrator will assist our client with their process of rebuilding their Network Management infrastructure from the ground up. The consultant will assist with both software and hardware changes to monitoring systems, reporting tools, and configuration tools.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
a.. Network Administration, Network Operations or Network Operations Centers
b.. Proficiency in UNIX Programming, Shell Script
c.. Experience with various Network Management and Monitoring systems i.e. (CS Mars, Cisco Works, Opsware, HP Openview, SolarWinds, SMARTS)
d.. Experience writing database queries
e.. Understanding of SNMP
f.. Fundamental Network knowledge
g.. Familiarity with Cisco Networking Experience
