Description: Job Summary/Description: Work Location: Project Manager- Fixed Income Trading and Analytics System Migration migrating its Investment Portfolio business from two vendor packages now used today that support trade capture and analytics functions to a new single outside vendor package. The new vendor package will also handle balance sheet debt. The investment portfolio includes a mix of fixed income products including Treasuries,Munis, Corporates, CMOs. CDOs. CLOs, RMBS, other types of assets backs, whole loans. The target application will replace existing applications and business processes of traders, middle office, operations, asset liability managers and risk managers. We are looking for a strong project manager to lead this migration effort. The candidate requires experience working with all of the above fixed income products from a front, middle and back office perspective. Must understand their entire lifecycle including accounting, purchase, settlement, analytics, strong trading systems experience, strong experience with migration efforts, strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, monitoring, running meetings


experience working with vendors and business stakeholders not directly under their control, proven track record of bringing large projects in on time, strong communications skills, strong negotiation skills The project has a tight timeline with significant implementation costs each month to the outside vendor and penalties if implementation is late. The candidates must be `professionally aggressive` to ensure that they and all stakeholders stay on track for the entire duration of the project and keep it on schedule. Prior experience with the target vendor is strongly preferred. Vendor's name will be provided by phone upon request. Location: NY - New York City
