Anyone know when BSG, the second part of the season starts back up
again here in the UK on Sky1?
Its been so long that I've completely forgotten what happened last and
even what season we are on.
The long gap, was this due to the writers strike at the beginning of
the year or are there any other factors? Usually we'd be starting on
the next season by now, but this is the last season for BSG isn't it?
I need a dose of Sci-Fi.
Cheers,
John

This is from today's junk emails.
The prize is one of the new Battlestar Galactica Cylon ships. The
competition closes September 30, 2008 at 11:59pm Eastern time and
appears to be open to worldwide entries (only minors are not allowed to
enter).
Win A Limited Edition Battlestar Galactica Cylon Raider !!
----------------------------------------------------------
It makes us both sad and excited to mention our old friend
Battlestar Galactica in this here newsletter. Sad because
it's ending soon (and also because the last season may be
delayed until April 2009 - GAH!), but also excited because
we have one killer BSG related contest for all you members
of the lost 13th tribe.
We've managed to secure an amazing hand made scale replica
of a Cylon Raider and we're giving it away to one of you
lucky children of Kobol. It's only one of 500, it's worth
almost $1000, it has cool paint and lighting effects, and
it comes with a plaque signed by Katee Sackhoff!

A report on io9 says that Olmos stated, in a Dragoncon session, that it
really is Earth, and it was nuked, so I hope we can put that debate
to rest. (The star confirmation already put it to rest for most of
us!)

Are you ready to wait till June or even July to see how "Battlestar
Galactica" ends?
Aaron Douglas, who plays Galen Tyrol on the series, told DragonCon
attendees he’s heard that fans may not see a new episode till April of
next year.
This contradicts comments made at July’s TCA event by SciFi exec David
Howe, who said Laura Roslin, the Adamas and their Cylon friends were
slated to return in January.
The news also suggests that the Cylon-centric flashback TV-movie
scripted by Jane Espenson may hit SciFi before the final 10 regular
episodes do.
