I use the junk jobby but it only deletes the ones it thinks are spam,
I've had a lot of stuff come through lately that isn't picked up.

I guess I could just set up an approved list and delete anything else
but that's a bit of a pain to maintain..

Can't I be as methodical and efficient in my private life as I am in my
professional life?

I fly out to Turkey for a fortnight's trolling round ancient ruins in
sunshine and drinking coffee the likes of which would make the average
Starbucks customer wet themselves in terror.

Imagine my surprise when I went to the draw where I *knew* I'd put my
passport and found it wasn't there!

In desperation I took today as a day's leave to look for the bloody thing.
And a few minutes ago I was filled with joyous relief when I saw the spine
of the little burgundy bugger poking out from the bottom of a pile of
papers.

Now I think about it I realise this 'to do' pile had been gathering dust for
at least 4 months. (Most of the things there fall into one of three
categories - recycle, shred, file.)

I guess there are some disadvantages to being a single bloke because no
female partner would let me get away with being so useless.

Bugger, bugger, shit, damn, sod.

Pee, po belly bum, drawyers. (Not really swearing but it gave me a warm
feeling - like pissing yourself in a wetsuit).

  Skinny HDDs

Has anyone come across any skinny 3.5" drives?

I have a slimline case with a slimline IDE HDD in that I want to replace. I
have seen the 80gb Diamondmax and the Seagate ones up to 250gig both at
around 20mm. I also saw a 250 gig Diamondmax at 20.99mm, but am not sure if
I will have to bend metal to fit it! Above this size they seem to go to 2
platters and go to 25-26mm.

Next it will be breaching their human rights to stop them performing

No, but we're talking about a memory of something I saw /probably/ in
the late 70s (so maybe 30+ years ago) or /possibly/ the early 80s,
and in fact the /elements/ of the scene I described are there, such
that I can see how they would have merged to become that scene. (I'll
explain that below some soiler space, I think, for a couple of
reasons).

I think my recollection of the film would have been better if it was
in the early 80s, so I'm favouring the late 70s - I was much more
aware of the sort of things I was watching by the 80s, with my 'path'
in terms of the sort of thing I liked to watch having already been
laid.
